Temu is an online marketplace operated by the Chinese e-commerce company PDD Holdings. It offers heavily discounted goods which are mostly shipped to consumers directly from China.

Temu contacted us in October and found that it was facing a lack of user mindshare in the USA, Canada, Romania, Hungary and Greece markets. Despite a limited budget, there was a need to increase brand presence, engage users to sign up and drive actual orders in a highly competitive market.

Sparkone Media adopted a layered KOC partnership strategy to achieve broad exposure at a lower cost through large-scale KOC partnerships, while selectively partnering with influencers to remain cost-effective and ensure adequate exposure in the target market. By releasing 25 videos in just one and a half months and maintaining a high frequency of exposure especially at key moments such as Christmas, it effectively increased Temu’s brand influence in the market and attracted more users to sign up and place orders.
